Awful experience which totally ruined my impression of the company. I was approached by a recruiter/sourcer on LinkedIn and the company looked interesting, so I agreed on a call. I had a call with her, everything was nice and she said that she would schedule my first interview after the weekend. She also asked for my CV, I sent it, she thanked me. But then bizarrely she started ghosting me for 2 weeks, totally ignoring several of my messages and emails, first asking when we should schedule the interview that she herself had proposed, then politely requesting an update or status as well as reminding her I had pending processes at other companies. She never answered on LinkedIn, only after two weeks I got a brief generic email saying the position is now frozen, so we can't move forward with it. Absolutely disgusting treatment of candidates, especially considering it was her who approached me, tried to convince me to join the company during the interview and even asked me for feedback on Glassdoor (which is quite ironic). Also a perfect example of how bad recruiters can damage the PR of a company itself. I have already told about several of my software engineer friends about my experience with VidIQ, they were appalled and will most likely also avoid the company.
