Very junior recruiting team - seemed to struggle with ability to navigate complex sourcing scenarios and recruit the top 1% of Research or Engineering Talent. Very Shabby interview process - Does not know who them want and why - struggling to close candidates who also receive offers from OpenAI or Anthropic. -Not structure to how they ask interview questions. Poorly designed. - Weak recruiting team. - I recommend not joining xAI and their recruiting process is completely derailed.
