Project Tasking :

Develop software solution and Implement coding designs in accordance with 508 compliance
Testing of software

General Requirements :

The Senior-level Software Engineer shall have at least the following experience:

At least ten (10) years in software development/engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. The individual must be able to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmer/analysts, as required.
At least six (6) years’ experience developing software in an enterprise environment. At least four (4) years of this experience must have been obtained in the last seven (7) years.
At least four (4) years developing software for Windows (2000, 2003, XP, Vista), UNIX or Linux (Red hat versions 3-5) OS and at least two (2) years of this experience must have been obtained within the last four (4) years.
Experienced with JavaScript, Flex, JSP, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), CSS, SpringMVC or equivalents for UI developers and Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Servlets or equivalents for enterprise Java developers
Developing at least one Object Oriented System (OOS).
Extensive experience in planning, accomplishing goals, complicated tasks and providing consultation on complex projects as a top-level contributor or specialist.
Have a firm grasp of modern computer programming with a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in programming and development of application software for complex systems, software testing
Experience developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products.
Have demonstrated technical writing skills and have generated at least five (5) documents in support of a software development project
Experience designing and developing applications that contain a user-facing view component.
Developing and deploying desktop application frameworks(e.g. ECLIPSE RCP)

Additional Experience Desired :

Experience developing web applications using Grails, AngularJS, or similar frameworks within the last year
Experience with Java, Jquery, JavaScript, Git, and at least 2 other languages within the last 3 years (i.e. JSON, AJAX)
Experience regularly developing code using test-driven development, automated unit testing, and continuous integration
Experience debugging issues in large, distributed, and virtualized Linux-based systems within the last year
Experience working in an agile software development team
Experience working directly with end users to design, develop, and debug software capabilities
Experience working independently on and leading tasks one to two weeks in size without external guidance
Experience with HTML5/CSS
Experience actively implementing 508 compliance tags and experience implementing coding designs and functions facilitating 508 compliance
NSA SIGINT experience

Education Desired :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Technical Field may be substituted for four (4) years’ experience.
