As a Mitigation/Restoration Project Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for construction restoration & mitigation projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation teams and any coordinated subcontracts, managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, and securing any unique materials, permits, and/or equipment required to complete the construction project.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-call rotation, possible evening and weekend work
- Follow & enforce established safety practices including proper use of PPE,
- When required Interface with office support staff throughout the life of projects until completion and assist in maintaining quality control standards
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Use and read Xactimate scopes to estimate, sell, oversee & manage commercial/industrial restoration & reconstruction projects for Fire, Water, and Mold losses from $5,000 on up to $500,000
- Manage all aspects of work required while on the job site to include technicians, laborers, equipment placement, demo, drying logs, photos, notes and sketches
- Respond to property damage emergency calls (as needed)
- Perform site inspections, document losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail.
- Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements
- Manage budgets, schedules and progress of restoration and reconstruction projects, from start to finish while maintaining quality standards
- Secure unique materials, permits, and equipment as required
- Prepare scope of project and estimate within a very timely manner
- Coordinate proper invoicing for contracted work and collect payments
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Attend all appropriate company meetings & company sponsored training sessions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates for the Mitigation/Restoration Project Manager role must have the ability to manage budget and schedules and possess exceptional organization and planning skills. Someone with the ability to recognize and solve problems independently is a good fit for this dynamic construction project management role. General knowledge of the industry and/or product channel or the ability to quickly learn. Two-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The following skills and abilities are required for this position.
- Minimum 40-hour work week. (Overtime will be required periodically)
- Able to work 8am-5pm Mon.-Fri. Additional hours/weekends, as needed
