VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing Surgery care team full time! CVTs & experienced Veterinary Assistants welcome to apply.

We have an anesthesiologist on staff to guide our protocols, and cultivate an environment that promotes and encourages growth and development.

Surgery Veterinary Technician Duties:

• Anesthesia monitoring, procedural and surgical
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Computed Tomography Scans (CT)
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time Wednesday - Saturday, and/or Part time Wednesday - Friday.

Compensation: $ 22 - 28 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status. (CVT, VTS, CVPM)
