We are currently looking for a skilled, motivated Construction Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales& Closer Representative with strong experience in the construction industry, particularly in structural components and framing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methods, building codes, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and managing sales opportunities, working closely with builders, developers, architects, engineers, and homeowners.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial construction markets.
Sell trusses and engineering services to builders, contractors, and high end clients.
Read and understand construction blueprints and architectural plans to accurately assess project needs and create estimates.
Interpret CAD files and construction documents to collaborate effectively with design and production teams.
Work with estimating and engineering departments to develop pricing, project timelines, and material lists.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product selection, specifications, and installation practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Meet or exceed sales targets, with commissions earned on each successful project.
Maintain detailed records of sales activity, leads, proposals, and client communications using CRM software or designated tools.
Attend job sites, customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in construction sales, project management, or estimating (preferably in framing systems, trusses, or structural components).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and CAD files.
Familiarity with construction codes, practices, materials, and terminology.
Strong understanding of framing techniques and truss systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results. Comfortable working both in the field and in an office setting.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
