Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Engineer to join our vibrant technology team. Duties

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, Express, and other modern frameworks to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient data exchange between front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of applications.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code via GitHub and SVN repositories, and continuously improve development processes.
• Write efficient SQL queries for MySQL and SQL Server databases; optimize database performance for high-volume data handling.
• Contribute to application development using languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, C, and VBA to support diverse project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with best practices in Linux environments.

Skills

• Proven experience with IT infrastructure management including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for web development; familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and Express is a plus.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA, and C for application development.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN; comfortable working within Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server; ability to write optimized queries for high-performance applications.
• Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) security models to ensure secure application access.
• Experience working in Linux environments; knowledge of application deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
