The data scientist will collect, process, and analyze large data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. <br />They will be responsible for building and evaluating predictive models and algorithms, designing experiments, and interpreting the results for stakeholders. Additionally, data scientists collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of data models and analytical methods.<br />The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with a wide audience, including business and technical teams. They will have a passion for problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.<br /> </p></div><p><b><span>Day in the Life:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the business to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive solutions.</p></li><li><p>Perform data mining and analysis from various databases to build solutions for optimizing product development, client portfolios, and business strategies.</p></li><li><p>Design and build custom AI/ML models and algorithms applied to data sets for enhancing products and processes.</p></li><li><p>Conduct exploratory data analysis to determine the effectiveness and accuracy of data for application in models and algorithms.</p></li><li><p>Develop and perform A/B testing frameworks to assess model quality and validity.</p></li><li><p>Interpret data analysis, model, and algorithm results to business and technical teams to facilitate decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Design and build predictive models to increase and optimize portfolios, generate revenue opportunities, prevent client attrition, and optimize portfolio segments for timely offers.</p></li><li><p>Develop processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing model performance and data accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in data-driven technologies and tools</p></li><li><p>Work in an agile framework as needed</p></li><li><p>Perform duties as assigned.</p><p></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Qualifications:</span></b></p><div><ul><li><p>Bachelors degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or similar field. </p></li><li><p>2&#43; year’s professional experience working within business intelligence, data science, or operations research with experience in development of advanced analytics.</p></li><li>Proficient with computer languages such as Python, and SQL.</li><li>Familiar with various machine learning techniques including clustering, ensemble methods, artificial neural networks.
