Anyone learned an instrument as an adult? My kids are learning to play now, and I am regretting never learning as a kid. My wife has a soprano saxophone just sitting here, I wonder if it’s worth giving it a go?

Pros

- Super close-knit community of like-minded designers - Being a remote company provides a lot of flexibility - Opportunity to grow in your career

Cons

On the flip side, working remote has made it challenging to form stronger relationships with co-workers and missing that in-person interaction may be hard for people who enjoy socializing with people.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Instrument (Portland, OR)

    Interview

Perception: Informational interview Reality: Blindsided with real interview Not the best. Wasn't prepared (obviously). It started out fine. Made a connection through Linkedin initially and was able to land in informational interview onsite at the agency. Seemed pretty casual from the start but it changed the moment we started talking. Basically just turned into formal interview questions from the start and I wasn't able to ask anything. The interviewer seemed pretty entitled and privileged.
