RESIDENTIAL CARE FOR YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS The William George Agency for Children’s Services (WGA) was founded in 1895 and is a private, co-educational, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that primarily provides out-of-home behavioral, mental health, and addiction treatment services to New York's adolescents and young adults. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and licensed by New York State's Office of Children and Family Services. Using a trauma-informed and holistic approach, WGA provides clinical, medical, educational, vocational and recreational services to youth in crisis who are unable to remain safely in their home community. Our 650-acre campus is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Our work helps youth gain perspective, build healthier relationships and develop the social skills and self-direction needed for a brighter future.
