Mission Our mission is to inspire and empower people to thrive with customized support that meets the unique needs of each person, family, and community, one step at a time.
Description Founded in 1973 by eight community members, RiseUP began with a mission to support vulnerable children in Colorado. What started as group homes for boys evolved in 1976 when Roundup shifted its focus to serving individuals with neurodiversity and developmental disabilities, responding to statewide deinstitutionalization efforts.
Over the decades, RiseUP expanded its services to include residential homes, in-home family support, employment and transition programs, adult residential care, and adult day programs. In 1995, RiseUP School was established to serve students who struggled in traditional educational settings and continues to operate today.
Now serving nearly 200 individuals across Colorado, RiseUP remains committed to providing person-centered, innovative support that promote independence, dignity, and community connection for individuals with neurodiversity and developmental disabilities
