Children discover their “best version” through active participation in Romp n’ Roll’s exceptional, research-based alternative to standard gym-, music- or art-only based classes. A Romp n’ Roll kid gains social poise and confidence, along with essential life skills…all while having fun day after day after day. Romp n’ Roll offers a better experience, better outcomes and better ways to enrich a young child’s life.
Fun
Our kids gym franchise is the FUN place for families to go. We personify fun by being outgoing and engaging. We keep our personal lives outside the doors at Romp n’ Roll. Each team member needs to be “on” for each other and our members and their children.
Adaptable and Service Driven
The vibe at Romp n’ Roll has to remain fluid. The structure belongs in the curriculum of our kids gym franchise. We must adapt to any situation on any given day. We strive every day to exceed members’ needs and expectations. We start from a service-orientation, which is a willingness to treat co-workers and members with courtesy, consideration and tact.
Motivated
212 (two-twelve) is a simple philosophy we use to boost motivation by reminding each of us how a small amount of extra effort and attention can have a big impact on results. Here’s how it works: “At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. Boiling water makes steam. Steam can power a train. Just one extra degree makes all the difference.”
Communication and Attitude
Good communication makes or breaks a company. Lack of communication among staff and members creates the possibility for poor service. There is no such thing as over-communicating. Everything we do at our children’s fitness franchise starts and ends with a positive attitude. With a positive attitude we can accomplish great things.

In 2004, Romp n' Roll founders Babz and Michael Barnett opened the first location. Parents themselves, they recognized the shortage of high-quality classes and programs for little ones when their son was young. Their goal was to create contemporary child development programs with a wide variety of enriching classes, and their research led them to discover the value of a play-based curriculum.
Romp n' Roll classes and activities are specifically designed to meet the developmental needs of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, ages 3 months through 5 years. Rather than focusing solely on the physical activity aspect, like other kids gyms, we incorporate art classes, music classes, movement activities, and imagination into our offerings.

Romp n' Roll began franchising in 2007, with each new location maintaining the high-quality classes and well-trained, passionate instructors that are the company's standard. Our children's gyms strike a balance between having fun and learning because here they are one and the same. Bring your child and participate in one of our themed classes, take advantage of our specialty events, round up the family and attend a seasonal celebration, or supervise as your little one blows off steam during our Open Gym sessions. You can even host your child's Super Birthday Bash at our facility while we handle the details-and the cleanup!
