Population Heath – MedCost Population Health Services (PHS) is committed to helping health care organizations deliver high quality, lower cost care through value based medicine. MedCost PHS has a team of medical, technology, and business experts who have a deep understanding of what it takes to transition clients into a value-based healthcare environment
Benefit Solutions – full-service third party administration through MBS, offering a broad range of products and services that are affordable and flexible, including medical and dental administration as well as flexible spending account and COBRA administration
Networks – MedCost owns the largest non-carrier PPO network in the tri-state area of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. We are contracted with all major health systems and offer access to over 87,000 providers. Outside of our tri-state footprint, MedCost offers access to the First Health Network through Zelis in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. This access gives health plan members and their covered dependents the security of having an extended network of providers, particularly when traveling on vacation or business, as well as being available for out-of-state college students.
