Mission Codesmith was built to enable people to have the skills to make the impact they want, to do so at a high level of excellence, yet remain accessible and supportive of each other. Our four key company values emulate this.
Execution & Ownership: Execution and ownership is about strengthening the impact of our programs and products and using our own skills to the best of our abilities to do so.
Collaboration & Community: Collaboration and community means, even as we focus on execution, we remain a supportive community where it feels good to be achieving excellence because we’re doing it with others.
Thoughtful communication: Thoughtful communication is the glue that links Execution & Ownership and Collaboration & Community together. It is both a value and skill that needs to be nurtured.
Aspiration for all: Aspiration for all is the notion that when your work exemplifies these values, there is no limit to the impact you can have within the company, team, and your career.
Description Codesmith is a team dedicated to democratizing elite education for a new era - the outcomes of an elite grad school but online and for 1/10th of the cost. Teaching at Codesmith is not only about skills, but it’s also about values - specifically rigor and community. We do so with contemporary skills like software engineering, data science, and UI design - primarily through immersive programs
Our mission is to develop an exceptional network of software engineering leaders, who are technically brilliant, collaborative, supportive, and passionate about pushing the engineering community forward.
We're building a team of remarkable people who have a desire to drive our mission forward while also cultivating and contributing to a community of empathy, excellence, and innovation.
We're looking for candidates who have pushed something to an extraordinary level - something that required determination and ingenuity. It might be your academic success, sports, a company, an organization, or a leadership role you held. We want to see that you're driven and ambitious but put the deeper company mission first.
