Description No endangered spotted-owl nests disturbed here. Operating through subsidiary Timeless Timber, Inc. (formerly Superior Water-Logged Co., Inc.), Enviro-Recovery annually harvests 2 million board feet of virgin old-growth timber from the depths of the Great Lakes and other areas. The company recovers logs that had sunk en route to mills during the logging boom of the 1800s. Icy underwater temperatures and lack of oxygen preserve the beech, birch, elm, larch, maple, oak, and pine, which Timeless Timber locates by sonar and raises by winch or air bag, then dries and mills to specifications for architects, contractors, furniture makers, and others. Timeless Timber sells directly and through distributors.
