THINKFilm is a distributor of independent films such as Being Julia, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, and Half Nelson. The company also releases documentaries that perform well at the box office, including The Aristocrats, Murderball, and Spellbound. Los Angeles-based entrepreneur David Bergstein, who also owns sister firm Capitol Films, purchased THINKFilm for $25 million in 2006.
