Wallis Companies is a great place with great people. We are an adaptable, high-spirited company that is well respected within our industry and communities, as well as by our suppliers, customers, and competitors. The values and beliefs outlined below are at the heart and soul of everything we do, what we stand for, what we stand on, and most important where we are going.
Description The story began in 1968 when Bill Wallis purchased a small gasoline distributor in Cuba, Missouri. Bill’s vision for the company was to be “A Premier Petroleum Company Delivering Exceptional Customer Service”, and the 1100 people at Wallis Companies work hard each day to continue to keep this promise alive.
Over the 50 plus year history, the Company has grown from the one store that Bill purchased at the beginning to a multi- state organization through investments in new sites, organic growth and major acquisitions.
Wallis’ portfolio of businesses includes a retail chain of On the Run convenience stores and Transport, Lubricant, Wholesale, Commercial Fuels, and Car Wash Divisions.
In 2001, Bill Wallis died from melanoma, and with a strong team of dedicated and professional people, the company has continued to grow, strengthen and serve our customers with the same focus on relationships, quality products and service to our customers.
