This is a sweet story. Sioux Honey Association is one of the world's leading honey manufacturers, with about 315 member-beekeepers in more than 30 states. The cooperative produces more than 40 million pounds of honey each year, including such varieties as clover, orange, and sage. Sioux Honey markets its products to food retailers, food manufacturers, and foodservice operators in the US, as well as in the Middle and Far East, Central and South America, and Europe under the Sue Bee, Clover Maid, North American, Aunt Sue, Natural Pure brand names. In addition, it offers private-label services. The co-op also makes a honey-sweetened energy drink called Buzz.
