About Quest One
Quest One is a global leader in the field of PEM electrolysis. Founded in 1997 under the name H-TEC Hydrogen Energy Systems as a scientific project, Quest One has been a subsidiary of MAN Energy Solutions since 2021. The company combines decades of experience in the field of electrolysis technology with the extensive know-how of its shareholders in the realization of large-scale projects and in heavy industry. Quest One employs around 550 people at three locations: production and development of the electrolysis stacks are based in Hamburg, Germany, while the electrolyzers are produced at a site in Augsburg, Germany. The company has another location in the U.S. near Houston, Texas.
