bakerly first began in May 2015, when Julien and Fabian, two “Bretons” from Northwestern France, decided to combine their efforts, talents and energy into one mission: bring their true love of crêpes, French brioche and traditional French pastries into households across America! Together, their goal has always been simple: To stay true to making quality bakery products that are identical to those they enjoyed as children in France and offer them to American families.
Behind all our products stands the bakerly all star team of true “artisan bakers”. Their passion and expertise are what make our products soooo delicious! At bakerly, our idea of a good product is one that is high in quality and with the best ingredients available.
Since the very beginning of bakerly, Julien and Fabian have always known that they would never use any preservatives, artificial additives, or high fructose corn syrup in their products. This is because they didn’t want to make or sell products that they wouldn’t give to their own children.
Our philosophy?
It’s quite simple : “Companies don’t succeed, People do!”. We embody this motto throughout our bakerly team and even have it painted on a mural in our Miami office!
You can also feel it the very moment you step into The bakerly Barn, our Pennsylvania production facility which was completed in 2018, and where some of your favorite products are already being produced. At the moment, some of our products are still produced with lots of love in Brittany, a city in the North West of France. With over 30 years of experience in Europe, we currently operate 21 state of the art production facilities and proudly employ over 3,700 people. We have a lot of pride in our honest origins and savoir-faire in all of the yummy brioche and snacks that you and your family love!
