Huy Fong Foods' Asian hot sauces will have you crowing. Its popular Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, as well as other products such as its Chili Garlic and Sambal Oelek (ground chili paste) sauces, bear the company's trademark rooster logo. The sauces are found in grocery stores (such as Albertson's and Ralphs) and restaurants across the US, especially in regions home to Asian-Americans and other devotees of spicy cuisine, including Italian and Mexican fares. Huy Fong founder and president David Tran named the company after the ship he took across the Pacific Ocean from Vietnam to America. The company was founded by Mr. Tran in 1980.
