The majority of Lunar's work is geared towards the high-tech industry; it designed Apple's first Powerbook, as well as the first Palm. Other product designs include the HP TouchSmart PC for Hewlett-Packard, sunglasses for DKNY, a toothbrush for Oral-B, and a catheter for Acuson Corporation. Lunar has offices in California, Hong Kong, and Germany. The design firm was founded in 1984 by CEO Jeff Smith and COO Gerard Furbershaw.
