Description When you're needing a bowl of something hot and filling, Homestat Farm has the answer. The company makes hot cereals with familiar and not-so-familiar brand names (Maypo, Maltex, and Wheatena) and soups and broths (G. Washington's). Its customers include retail food and foodservice companies throughout the US. Homestat opened for business in 2001 when founder and president Bill Stadtlander purchased the Maltex, Maypo, Wheatena, and G. Washington brands from ConAgra. The company acquired the since discontinued Aunt Patsy's split pea soup brand in 2003.
