Description If your principal raw material is salt water, Gulf Resources might just be the perfect name. Using brine or salt water, the company produces bromine (#1 in China), used primarily for flame retardants and water purification, and salt, a bi-product of bromine production. Its production capacity is 34,000 tons of bromine and 300,000 tons of crude salt per year. The minerals account for a majority of sales; chemical companies are Gulf Resources' main bromine and salt customers.
