Back in 2015, there were two best friends from Hod Ha’Sharon: Alen and Ran. Every week they would go and work out at the Hod HaSharon CrossFit “box” and felt they were wasting their precious time on exhausting and chaotic scheduling. Luckily, they both had the skills to do something about it.
Their vision was to change the way people think within the fitness world. They aimed to create a management system and app for CrossFit “boxes” and dreamt up ideas to make Arbox a reality.
Our two heroes knew they couldn’t possibly keep this to themselves and word spread like wildfire as more and more customers from the fitness industry started discovering Arbox’s capabilities.
Today, Arbox has become the leading solution provider for fitness businesses in Israel: over 700 businesses, serving 500,000 members, depend on Arbox to help manage their business productively and efficiently.
Since its creation, Arbox has had minor investments and was run in an almost self-funded way, while still growing significantly every year. The secret? The product is just damn good, or so our customers tell us. In fact, word of mouth, and our customers sharing Arbox with each other is a major reason for our success.
In 2019, we partnered with a leading VC fund, Pico Partners, that identified the potential in Arbox in order to help accelerate our growth and spread the vision globally.
