Description It could be said that high school dropout F. Nephi Grigg was the real Mr. Potato Head. Back in 1951 he and his brother, Golden, founded the Ore-Ida company, which makes frozen French fries in a variety of styles (Shoestrings, Golden Crinkle, and Steak Fries, to name a few). In addition to world's most popular potato product, the company also sells frozen Tater Tots, mashed potatoes, hash browns, and Potatoes O'Brien. Non-potato products include frozen chopped onions and frozen breaded onion rings. Ore-Ida is a subsidiary of Heinz North America Consumer Products.
