Description Lotus Bakeries wants you to find your Zen with its specialty biscuits, waffles, galettes, and cakes. Founded in 1932, the bakery sells its sweet snacks in retail markets, as well as to airlines, cafes, hotels, and restaurants around the globe. It operates production facilities in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, and has sales offices in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. Jan Boone, grandson of founder Matthieu Boone, took over the business in May 2011. Instead of focusing on acquisitions, Jan plans to concentrate on expanding capacity of its cake- and biscuit-making factories in Belgium through 2013.
