Mission We believe that people with disabilities should experience the world like anyone else. We are a social enterprise with the purpose of making the world accessible and the goal to empower people with disabilities to explore the world without limits.
Governments, travel companies, and tourism professionals are all joining the accessible travel movement given the exponential growth of people with disabilities traveling around the world.
Our commitment is to provide detailed information about what is accessible and specialized customer support through the entire experience, and become the best accessible travel solution.
Description It all started when in 2016 a group of friends wanted to trek the “W” circuit of Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonian lands, Chile.
One of us, Álvaro, uses a wheelchair. We were told it was not possible, but after testing the correct equipment, he became the first wheelchair user to complete this circuit!
That adventure started what Wheel the World is today, and our vision is to become the best solution for people with disabilities to experience and travel the world.
