Mission To provide science-based education about the impact of food choices, empowering current and future consumers and leaders to help create a healthier, more sustainable food system for all.
Vision: Societies in which all community members are equipped with the knowledge of how their individual food choices impact health and environmental issues worldwide, leading to improved personal and planetary health.
Description The Educated Choices Program (ECP) is an academic non-profit organization dedicated to teaching current and future consumers about the power of their food choices. ECP was founded by our CEO in 2016 after she spent ten years independently presenting to students in the Atlanta, Georgia, area on these topics. At that time, her vision for a non-profit education program that teaches students and communities about the impacts of food choices on human and planetary health was realized. ECP has grown exponentially over the years and now offers digital presentations and accompanying materials around the globe in three languages. (English, Spanish and German) Over 2.6 million community members spanning 19 countries have seen our presentations to date. ECP is now the nation's largest, most effective non-profit education program focused on the issues related to animal agriculture and its effects on the planet and all who share it.
