US Ignite works tirelessly to ensure our programs are effective and reach the communities that need them the most.
US Ignite is a 501(c)(3) research organization accelerating the smart communities movement with more than 160 federal, municipal, industry, and academic partners. The organization was originated by the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), led by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in partnership with other federal agencies, to promote U.S. leadership in the development and deployment of next-generation applications on ultra-fast, programmable networks with the potential for significant societal impact.
For over ten years, federal agencies, corporations, and foundations have trusted US Ignite as a partner. Over this time the team leading the work has also grown quickly and now includes a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, and areas of expertise.
