Description America's oldest brewery, D.G. Yuengling & Son proves that wine isn't the only drink that gets better with age. Yuengling, a name that means "young man," produces more than 2 million barrels of beer a year, a significant artisanal drop in the US beer mass-market. Its craft-brewed beers include Yuengling-brand premium and light beer, lager, light lager, and porter, plus bock on a seasonal basis. It also brews Chesterfield ale and Black & Tan, a blend of porter and premium beer. Yuengling suds are brewed in Pennsylvania and Florida, and distributed mainly along the US East Coast. Founded in 1829 by German immigrant David Yuengling, the company is owned and managed by fifth-generation brewer Dick Yuengling.
