In 2013 the Sports Business Journal named COTA’s marquee event, the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, the “Sports Event of the Year”. In 2013 the on-site Austin360 Amphitheater won Pollstar’s “Best New Major Concert Venue,” and was listed in 2015 in the USA Today’s 10 Best concert venues.
COTA’s 1,500-acre campus includes a variety of permanent structures, including a 44,000 square foot Event Center, an impressive Main Grandstand with 29 permanent hospitality suites & lounge, a 270,000 square foot Paddock Building with 34 garages with flexible hospitality space, and the iconic 25-story Observation Tower. In addition, COTA markets, produces and operates Fan Fest in downtown Austin during Formula 1 weekend where 225,000 fans take part in the annual festival covering 12 blocks of downtown Austin.
