Description Blacklane is a scale-up started in 2011, founded by Jens Wohltorf and Frank Steuer who wanted to create the first global chauffeur service. We started by filling chauffeurs’ ‘empty leg’ journeys and have grown with our partners to do so much more. We created a smarter way to book and manage rides — something affordable, reliable, and efficient.
Over the past 10 years, Blacklane has grown from a two-man operation in Germany to an international, award-winning crew of over 300 people with hubs in Italy, Singapore, Spain, the U.A.E., the U.K., and the U.S., backed by Daimler and other investors in Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and the UAE.
