The company provides filings in the XBRL format, a financial reporting standard, short for "eXtensible Business Reporting Language". Subscription products include EDGAR Pro (unlimited access to filings with searching, filtering, and downloading tools); the less expensive EDGAR Access (limited access); and I-Metrix Professional (data analysis). EDGAR Online also provides digital data feeds to companies for intranets, extranets, and other applications. The firm was the first to publish real-time SEC filings online for individual investors.
