Wako Pure Chemicals Industries, Ltd., worldly renowned for its high purity chemicals, established Wako Chemicals USA, Inc. to expand its presence in the United States. The first US operations (Office Only) opened in Dallas, Texas, in 1981, followed by a relocation to Virginia in 1987 (Office and Production Facility). The Wako USA Brand included Specialty Chemicals, Diagnostics, Laboratory Chemicals, LAL and Lab Automation.
