Pros
The people who care passionately exist, although far and few between. They make working hard and working towards a goal worth it.
Cons
Leadership above the VP level has zero vision, zero conviction and can't make decisions. They're too busy promoting the wrong people, rewarding the people who do nothing, and creating more work for those who actually care. All of the focus is on the wrong parts of the business. The path that exits mediocrity is so clear and simple, but leadership especially in marketing is blinded by incompetence.
