Pros

Amazing team of young international professionals makes it easy to make friends Hybrid and flexible working model Opportunity to get your start as a young professional with no experience

Cons

The seasonality of the job means you will spend 6 months of the year extremely stressed and working much longer hours. Because of the intensity, the turnover is high, other than a few members that have been there a long time. You will see at least a couple people on the verge of mental breakdown every year due to mismanagement, lack of organization and bullying/favoritism from the managers and owners. It is not a sustainable working environment for most people. After many years it’s still a small company so it’s hard to get adequate training and mentorship for skills you will need anywhere other than this company. And there are not many possibilities for significant career growth other than a title change that has you doing basically the same job, plus whatever gets left when someone inevitably quits in a busy period.

Pros

- Fully remote, flexible working hours - Multicultural team w/ great, supportive people - Leadership can be hands-on with projects but don’t micromanage

Cons

- Workload can vary greatly depending on the season (Summer-Fall months can be VERY busy) - In my position, training was minimal, not recommended if you have little to no previous experience - You will have to set your own goals if you seek career growth in the long-term, not recommended if you want a more involved manager/mentor.
