Pros

Did have a competitive salary and good benefits Fully remote CEOs/founders are great

Cons

Management and Executive team have no idea what they’re doing. Used funding to bloat team and gutted them within 2 quarters. Some were so toxic positive and refused to listen to any constructive criticism. As of this post they were also fired… Favoritism was absolutely blatant and disregarded any plans for promotion - Bumped the favorite and kept hiring outside instead of promoting from within. They kept dangling a promise of promotion and actual training because the team missed unrealistic targets - continuously blaming us for they’re lack of experience and oversight. One of the upper levels reported to literally had no idea about the ICP. Lots of employees that are so much more knowledgeable kept complaining and having to do extra work just to appease them. ALSO - An executive member hired all of their friends, making diversity non-existent. Most if not all POC were let go in 22-23 and they seem to be homogenizing the sales org. Best I can describe, it’s essentially a fraternity and popularity contest. Not really fulfilling the diversity and inclusion promise?

Pros

Really great benefit options like fully paid medical, grocery and internet monthly allotments, unlimited PTO, etc. Some really smart people!

Cons

Most of the rest? Unaligned leadership with constantly changing priorities, company culture that used to be something worth talking about that's completely eroded over time and with growth, inconsistent product delivery, and a lot of people looking to climb over their peers for their own betterment.

Cons

Toxic accounting leadership. 1. Doesn't acknowledge factual points of view. 2. Technical accounting knowledge severely lacking. 3. Systems used to support accounting and reporting are held hostage by engineering team. 4. Accounting leadership lacks sufficient knowledge and ability to move past quickbooks and excel mindset. 5. Accounting leadership is threatened by people with knowledge and experience. 6. Accounting leadership harass, threaten and treat anyone with accounting knowledge and experience with open hostility. 7. Career minded accountants, this is not the place for you.

From time to time, we all find ourselves in a situation that is not ideal for an employee or the business. When this happens, it can be difficult for anyone to see eye-to-eye with our decision to part ways. Some are able to move forward without hurt feelings. Others are not. I am deeply sorry that your time with us left you angry. We are open to feedback, even feedback that is difficult to understand or agree with. So, thanks for giving us your feedback. As we disagree with your narrative, and we have many happy employees who are thriving (our retention rates continue to be highly enviable), we can only wish you success in finding a place where your skills and style will allow you to thrive. -Dan Collins, Head of Talent
