      The job itself is ridiculously rewarding. I love being able to connect with patients, even if that connection is short. I enjoy being able to help others.

      Cons

      Our executive director is incompetent. She is completely unaware and seemingly uninterested in what actually goes on in the hospice. She fails to discipline employees, regardless of how serious the action. Administration is a joke, very high school clique. They don’t care about their staff, they don’t respect their staff. The majority of managerial staff is oblivious and ignorant to the difficulties of our jobs. Our turnover rate for employees speaks for itself.
