    Pros

After being bought by Genesys they offer Open time-offs which is good. There is a good work life balance and very flexible environment. Work culture is good.

    Cons

Bad compensation. If you can negotiate initially then it might work our for you. Do not expect yearly increment in your salary.

    Advice to Management

Please consider giving some good compensation to our employees.

    Pros

If your a sales person who likes strictly base and no commissions it's highly recommended, with a sweat shop mentality. The support element isn't there, and the technology is the best unfortunately it lacks redundancy, uptime and most of all vision.

    Cons

Lack of leadership, support, and platform Sucks. They have a great thing it's just too bad they dont' have the knowledge and know how to make it work.

    Advice to Management

The entire Senior Management needs to be replaced.

    I worked at Angel.com full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There were none. But since Genesys aquired them, in theory should get better with time. Genesys is a good company with competent employees/management.

    Cons

Complete distaster, no process for anything, management was all over the place. Micromanagement is an understatement.

    Advice to Management

Need to train for people properly which goes beyond the 2 week boot camp. Stop micromangaging to death. It was like a prison.

    Pros

Great product training. Recently acquired by Genesys.

    Cons

No clear direction or communication from Executive Team. Information is disseminated through office rumors.
Micromanagement is the way of life.
Not a collaborative or teamwork type environment.
    No career path.
Actual product is not enterprise grade.
    Middle management is ineffective.

    Advice to Management

Take a step back and listen to your employees, not the clique that tells you what you want to hear.

    Pros

Excellent and intensive sales and product training. Cool looking product especially with intergrated business intelligence makes for great first meetings.

    Cons

Platform lacked stability and company lacks brand identity by enterprise buying influencers. Base salery is competitive, but sales commissions are hard to earn and management demands results without providing consistent support, which results in a high turn of sales associates. None teaming corporate culture as salespeople look out for themselves sometimes at the cost of others.

    Advice to Management

Work on a corporate culture of mutual respect. Higher good people, put metrics in place to measure activity, provide consistant support, then trust with time and effort the sales results will happen.

    Pros

Progressive views for a company domninated by legacy companies. Can do attitude if you get mindshare from the executive team.

    Cons

Enterprise growth against established giants is tough. Leadership has underestimated the time this will take. Need to empower the remote folks with knowledge and decision making ability.

    Advice to Management

Foeld enablement is key for an enterprise company, so you must make sure the field has the tools they need to succeed.

    Pros

The job can allow one opportunities to take charge on projects. Most of team is in close physical proximity allowing one to feel sort of a family environment.

    Cons

Poor ability to work tightly as a team. Poor communication between departments. Management needs help. Company seems more centered around sales/politics than quality of product.

    Advice to Management

Would suggest better communication with employees and other departments. Would suggest more thorough planning before action. Would also suggest greater consideration for employees.
