Pros

Pay was only slightly below average

Cons

Overworked, bosses didn't believe in hiring enough people, worked 16-19 hour days several days in a row, took on thousands of dollars on my personal credit card because company wouldn't issue card, other departments dumped their work onto IT department and never lifted a finger to help with anything, company is run via Excel rather than actual enterprise tools, directors from Ireland make decisions for the USA having never seen what actually goes on. Toxic work culture, zero work-life balance. Avoid if married, have children, or want to study anything. Pay is just average and often below. Be prepared to spend 6 out of 10 hours in conference calls with zero decisions being made. At times, was forced into video conferences while traveling on highways, saw others doing the same, even from Ireland. Insane. No care given away all regarding 5 hour time difference. Not least on my list: Irish attitude came across as toxic, overbearing, and casual regarding breaking OSHA rules and basic work ethics. Senior leadership barely able to run a low end gas station, never mind a multi national billion dollar company.

Pros

Lexington, SC - generally polite co-workers If you can avoid upper management, the job isn't that bad

Cons

Low pay Not enough people for the work Upper management micromanages everything (be prepared to report everything you are doing multiple times a day) Over half the IT department don't know basic IT troubleshooting or repair

Pros

Getting to make connections in the Retail and Quick Service Restaurant industries. They seem to encourage diversity. As a minority in leadership, I'm rarely the only minority in the room which is refreshing.

Cons

Cooperate will make changes and then communicate to you at 5PM to execute it by the next day. Higher ups will constantly slice the labor budget but then reprimand you when things don't get completed or have a delay in completion. No work life balance. Since the plazas are 24 hours they demand you're available 24/7. The higher ups are the type of people to schedule a holiday party the same day as a Full Store Audit just so they can avoid the responsibility. Which leaves you to work a 15 hour day doing it alone... Then seem baffled that you're upset about it...
