I have been working at Armtec full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Ummmm, the office location maybe?

    Cons

Many positions do very little in a day, while others cannot keep up.

If you value yourself as a person, do not take a CSR position with this company.

    Advice to Management

You must change the Sales vs. Customer Service structure.

You have burned through 27 CSR's in 6 years in Alberta, and currently have 2 other CSR's on stress leave.

    Pros

Great co-workers. Adequate pay. Benefits are good. My manager is good. (Sales and Customer Service function)

    Cons

Nobody in operations has actual production experience with plastics. Very unorganized. Projects are over budget and not completed on time. Work in a vacuum and think they know what customers want - they don't.

    Advice to Management

    Better planning and exceution

I have been working at Armtec full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good interesting work. Competitive wages. Good people.

    Cons

Too many initiatives to juggle, heavy workload, don't effectively execute on improvements or initiatives, cannot change culture - dont know how - engagement and culture changes don't happen because the managers say it over and over.... must "live" it.

    Advice to Management

Change happens from the top down. Following procedure and protocol happens from top down. Can't sit in your corner office and dictate and order change.

I have been working at Armtec full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Love the Co-workers, excellent people and want to succeed. Always willing to help each other out

    Cons

Senior management keeps changing things around, but never communicates it's plans to the company so you never know what is happening.
Raises are basically nothing, always blame it on poor economy, but that statement gets old after 5+ years

Company is extremely top heavy in executives, almost more execs than there are people working below.

    Advice to Management

Actually work with the employees on the front lines. Before you make big changes, speak to people and maybe you will see that not all your ideas are going to work how you think.
