    Pros

CGI is a very warm welcoming environment. Truly striving to establish a family style culture. For being a small company CGI has withstood the test of time and taken on some big name clients: EMC, ADP, LogMeIn, and Kronos just to name a few. Due to the small size of the company you have the opportunity to work directly with the entire team and generally input is considered from all team members.

    Cons

The main location of CGI is in Westboro so for those living in Boston this can be a bit of a commute. Growth within the company can be stagnant as there is a tendency to pigeonhole employees into specific projects and clients. Lots of great ideas circulating for company growth but very slow to act on those which can get frustrating if you are looking for change to happen faster.

    Advice to Management

Be involved at a high level but give departments more independence to implement change on their own. Continue to support employee growth for all.

    Pros

Great atmosphere, family friendly, great work/life balance, gives credit and praise regularly, business dress code is relaxed, good benefits, will set personal goals/incentives

    Cons

compensation leans low, company vision is sometimes confusing, no regular reviews or cost of living raises, mild favoritism, at times too much internal run around, not always ready to take the role of expertise and make firm recommendations and instead takes client feedback too literally.

    Advice to Management

At times expectations are confusing or conflicting, but overall a very pleasant place to work. Recommend taking more leadership stance with some clients to convey expertise and trust, as well as to provide the truly best solution.
