High energy positive work space. This job is cool because performance dictates when you get promoted to the next level rather than the old buddy system or having to kiss butt! At my last job for a year and half I was promised a promotion to management but kept getting the run around.

You have to build your own credibility so be prepared to sacrifice and work hard to learn the biz from ground up.
I had zero experience in a field like this after leaving the culinary scene. However, I found that with the right student mentality and guidance from the people around who were doing the best, I was able to rapidly grasp the concept. I love the uplifting vibes and glad to be somewhere where I am challenged every single day.
Cons
You have to be dedicated to your vision of working for yourself one day, which in my opinion is not a con by any means. I mean its your vision. You just have to work hard and maintain a positive outlook.
