Pros

- Supervisors are helpful & knowledgeable. - Front office is supportive

Cons

- The CEO does not care about you. You are simply a dollar sign. She will over work you and cuss you out if you bring up concerns. - Associate turn-over is HIGH for a reason. 2 other private practice owners warned me about working there and I wish I would have listened. Ask why they are always hiring (It's not because they are growing). - You can definitely find a job with higher pay.

Hello Beware! Thank you for sharing your feedback. While I don’t agree with the claims made, I value feedback as an opportunity to reflect and improve. It’s important to me that all employees feel supported, and I strive to foster a respectful and professional environment. To clarify a few points: I do not and will not engage in unprofessional behavior, including cursing at employees. Respect is a core value in our company. Regarding pay and workload, we are the only group in town that pays a consistent rate for all hours worked, even when patients don’t show, without dropping to minimum wage for administrative time. This ensures stability and benefits for our staff, which is a priority for us. Our caseloads are in line with many other mental health groups. I understand you are frustrated by this and I acknowledge that it appears you are frustrated with what full time expectations look like in the mental health field. Turnover is a natural part of ensuring that our team is made up of individuals who align with our values and goals. Sometimes that means parting ways, but this is to maintain a healthy and productive environment for everyone. To the individual behind this post, I encourage you to redirect your energy toward finding a new opportunity that better suits you. Holding onto resentment over being let go won’t benefit you in the long run. Focus on the future rather than dwelling on the past.

Pros

On the plus side I have been getting my hours for licensure so fast. At this rate I can submit to test for the clinical exam in less than a year.

Cons

Everything else. High caseloads. MICROMANAGING from all supervisors. Hounding to get notes down to make sure they bill. Every few weeks there’s staff changes. Clients don’t get consistent care. There’s an overwhelming emphasis that everything I am doing is ok but I’m told otherwise in supervision meetings. The supervisors are helpful but they are only following orders. My fellow therapists are so overwhelmed and cries for help are not being heard enough. Don’t even bother complaining to your supervisor. They don’t really care. Office is nice but out of touch decor. At least 6 of my colleagues are quitting in a month and my supervisor told me off the record. that two more supervisors are looking to leave by the of summer. There is a reason why this place has a bad reputation in town. And a reason why this place can’t keep a staff. It seems that the only ones that do stay are only condoning the bad reputation of this place. Glad I and my other six colleagues are leaving.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. While we value feedback, it is essential to address and correct several inaccuracies in your review. Firstly, regarding the high caseloads, we closely monitor and manage the distribution of clients to ensure a balanced and reasonable workload for all our therapists. Our caseloads are standard in the community for a full time position that offers a consistent pay rate for 40+ hours per week, 5 weeks of paid time off, and covered medical benefits. Claims of overwhelming caseloads do not align with our actual operational data and feedback from the majority of our staff and what we offer as benefits to our staff to help manage carrying the caseload you do. In fact, other agencies will require you to carry larger caseloads in order to make sure you are meeting minimum billing requirements. On the topic of micromanagement, our supervision practices are designed to support and guide our clinicians, not to hound them. We maintain high standards for documentation to ensure ethical billing and high-quality care for our patients and we are required to complete notes within an ethical and timely manner according to our insurance contracts and the code of ethics we abide by from our licensing board . Your assertion about frequent staff changes leading to inconsistent client care is misleading. While some turnover is natural in any organization, we have robust systems in place to ensure continuity of care. Our patients consistently receive the highest standard of care, regardless of staffing changes. Additionally, are a training program, clinicians are not meant to stay with us forever, and we encourage clinicians to experience as much as they can in treating as many diverse patients as they can while gaining their hours so that you know what you want to specialize in once you are licensed and starting your own private practice. It's disheartening to hear you feel that cries for help are not being heard. We have multiple channels for staff to express concerns and provide feedback. Many of our team members have expressed satisfaction with the support they receive. If specific issues were not addressed, it may be due to the fact that you have not expressed these concerns to the appropriate person? I am the CEO of this group and I know I have not personally heard from you. Regarding the office environment, the decor is chosen to create a professional and welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. It seems like you don’t appreciate the thought that went into creating a space for our patients that is welcoming, inviting, and representative of a home, and while that is okay- your feedback is misleading. The claim about multiple colleagues planning to leave, including supervisors, is speculative and does not reflect our current retention rates. We are committed to maintaining a supportive and positive work environment, which is evidenced by the many long-term staff members who contribute to our success including supervisors that have been at CVFT for over 7+ years. We take our reputation seriously and strive to address any concerns promptly and effectively. However, unsubstantiated claims and general negativity do not contribute constructively to our mission of providing excellent care and a positive work environment. I invite you to discuss these matters further with me directly. Accurate feedback is crucial for our growth, and I am committed to addressing any legitimate concerns. Thank you for your time and for the work you have done with us.
