Pros

Good exposure for fresh grads as you will get exposure on consulting projects, overall there are some nice colleagues

Cons

High attrition rate, very stressful environment, and tight deadlines. Heard the senior management shouting at their staff on several occasions.

Pros

-- Learning opportunities about healthcare in APAC -- Project management learning opportunities since you will most likely manage quite a few projects yourself -- Work pass in Singapore for foreigners/fresh grads with minimum pay

Cons

I can't think of any place that is worse than this company. Don't understand how the management keeps this situation going on for quite a while, even after the merge with EIU. -- Poor methodology and research methods mean that lots of projects are based on shaky, last-minute ground. Analysts struggle to defend their findings with no proper back-up from managers. Managers expect you to deliver perfect jobs your first tryst, or show no interest in fixing your job on the excuse of "being too busy." -- No training or preparation whatsoever for newcomers. You will be thrown to the deep end your first month. Management acknowledges this but says there is no resources/time for training. -- Lack of diversity among the workforce. Most people are just robots, trying to crunch numbers and catching up with deadlines. No creativity. -- Boss always shout at other people. No interest in welcoming newbies/catching up/mentoring with low-level analysts. -- Office is generally a very unhealthy environment. People look for new jobs all the time and the turnover rate is quite high. Most people end up working for client's side, but very few can progress up. -- HR is incompetent and does not know how to handle matters professionally and kindly. You really need to step up to protect yourself/work for your benefits with this firm. Company won't hesitate to fire staffs within months. -- Lack of a common language and understanding between foreign and Singaporean staffs
