- There was a deep lack of role clarity, and I had no idea how to get promoted or ask for a raise (even though they said there were opportunities for growth). I got little to no professional guidance, and when I did it was because I sought out those opportunities on my own.
- When I raised concerns about my role or needs they were not heard or valued, and I was made to feel like they were not taken seriously and that asking for things like role clarity, help with prioritization, and professional support was unreasonable and not important. Overall, I did not feel very valued at this organization.
- There was also definitely a feeling of favoritism from the senior leadership, especially the CEO, and it was made clear that I was not part of the "important" crowd. My professional confidence was shattered here and I really recommend looking elsewhere if you are a young professional looking for growth.
- There was also a lack of commitment to diversity, and they absolutely did not "walk the walk" with that.
