The people I work with are smart, driven and care about each other. They foster an excellent experience for their employees and the management genuinely cares for each of their direct reports

    Cons

    Hoping for more remote options

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Common Thread Collective is extremely transparent on how they treat their clients and their employees. They want to make sure us as employee's or clients needs are met whether its our dreams and goals or our mental health as those directly impact the outcome of the companies goals. Basically it's the coolest ad agency around and I couldn't imagine working for any other company!!!!

    Cons

Honestly I don't think CTC comes with any con's!

    Advice to Management

Keep crushing it!! You guys are awesome!!!!

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time

    Pros

Things at Common Thread are not perfect. But the point is that every day, our leaders work to try to make things better. They take action on things that aren't working, are constantly seeking feedback, and are open to trying new things whether in the name of a 'best practice' or 'let's just try this to see whether it might work for what we're doing here.' Specifically, people work hard to make sure that co-workers...

    Cons

The only con might be that there are no options for flexible work arrangements. If you want to do the one-off work from home, you're free to do so, but it can't be a regular occurrence.

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I got my first job when I was 15. Since then, I've worked for many different companies across many different industries. Some did culture really well and most employees seemed happy and fulfilled. At others, employees dreaded coming to work with burn out rampant from the entry level positions to upper management. I’ve been at CTC for just over five months and I feel confident in saying that my time here, so far, has...

    Cons

From my experience, there have been no cons to working at CTC. That said, I think it's important to note that not everyone will thrive working here. For people that are just looking for a place to clock in and clock out, this may not be the best fit. Being willing to work hard and buying in to the culture and community of CTC is a vital part of being happy here.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! I think continuing to cultivate an environment of dreaming will be so important for CTC's impact on people inside/outside of the ecosystem. I would also say, find ways to push people when you feel like their dreams will take them away from CTC. I can already tell that when that day comes for me, I'll need a little nudge to get out the door.

    Pros

THE PEOPLE THE PEOPLE THE PEOPLE. They are such an incredible group of individuals who are passionate about what they do & really enjoy their jobs. Monday meetings with the entire company is my favorite way to kick off the week! The culture is something I have never experienced before. In the past i have worked with an accounting firm and an investment bank and i cannot tell you how happy I am with CTC. They take...

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time for less than a year

    Pros

At CTC, I hardly go a single day without hearing the words "growth," "progress," or (especially) "dreams." If you are someone who is committed to the life-long process of developing as an entrepreneur of your own life (or, what I like to call, a human being) then stop right here and send in your application. There are two things that CTC does extremely well: they value development and instill belief. AT CTC, performance...

    Cons

To quote a former CTC employee, I'm "spoiled by CTC." The only "con" I've encountered in working here is that every other option pales in comparison.

    Advice to Management

Keep multiplying what you have here. The rest of the world doesn't even know what it's missing--your company is something other business owners should strive to replicate. It's a place of mutual commitment and investment that I am honored to play a role in.

    Pros

This is a company that genuinely wants its employees to grow. Opportunity is everywhere. CTC has built an amazing culture and its core values have built a foundation that the company continues to grow on. CTC has the most positive, challenging, and encouraging culture I have ever been around.

    Cons

I truly can't point any out.

    Advice to Management

Keep building, and keep focusing on culture.

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time

    Pros

I've worked in many industries and at several different brands/agencies and I've never come across a place like this. The partners treat everyone like entrepreneurs and push incredibly hard for us to accomplish our dreams. We work with rad clients and get to develop several different skills and traits. The culture is incredible and it's clear that the hiring process focuses on great people who work really hard. I've made...

Honestly, none, We work a ton but I don't see anyone complaining. We all really love being around each other.

    Advice to Management

This is an environment where we can openly speak with the partners about any concerns we have so if there's advice, we feel comfortable giving it.

I have been working at Common Thread Collective full-time

    Pros

You're probably thinking the same thing I was thinking when I first looked up Common Thread Collective, "How can it be possible that one company has nothing but 5-star reviews? Are they fake? How much are they paying for reviews? Is this some kind of weird cult?" The answer is no to all three. I can honestly say after working here that the hype is real. Working at CTC is a dream come true to me. There is a great sense...

You can at times work long hours but that is offset by the extremely generous PTO policy.
