I have been working at Complete Coach Works full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I was hired in just wanting a job and not knowing much and that changed fast. They really expected me to learn new things and I was given the opportunity to work in a lot of different areas of the organization.

    Cons

Training is not as organized as it could be, seems to be a disconnect with HR and production on how to get into the classes offered

    Advice to Management

Keep the employees informed on future training

I have been working at Complete Coach Works full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good place to work to get your feet wet with heavy duty mechanic work. You can work here while you get your Certs then move up in the company or move on to better things if you need.

    Cons

Pay is minimum for the same work a transit agency will pay top dollar for but that's the nature of the game

    Advice to Management

    Keep it simple

    Pros

Complete Coach Works is a great place to work and you learn valuable job skills quickly. There's a lot of room for growth with the company for people who work hard and show initiative. Training for every position is really important to the company, if you're willing to learn they will find training courses to make you a better employee.

    Cons

We could use more team building and company events to boost morale and allow employees from different departments to interact more frequently.

    Pros

Great work environment with amazing co-workers and great potential for professional growth!!! Love the tons of training incentives available to all employees!! I admire that the owner is onsite and very involved with the day to day decisions of the company. Very generous with production employee incentives and throws awesome Christmas parties for employees, family and friends!!!

    Cons

Would be nice if management would recognize office employees hard work more often.

    Pros

they try to be friendly, some of the trainers are very patient on trying to get you up to speed on how things are done.

    Cons

the dispatchers have no clue as to what is going on, they would have a driver drive all the way from home just to tell them that there is no work for today, also they had four drivers for only three trucks, their training sucks, first , you get told one way on how to do things, then the other driver tells you to do things the other way, also they need to have more work, and not just stand around, the dispatchers did not what to do with the loads, they would have us pick up in one location and drive it back to riverside, then about half way to riverside they tell the drivers to go some where else with the load, there is no commo between the drivers and dispatch, also don't tell them that you have a college education, they will fire you for being too smart

    Advice to Management

get together and plan your plans

I worked at Complete Coach Works full-time

    Pros

Employees are friendly and office administrators tries really hard to support their managers.

    Cons

Company is very outdated with all their systems from accounting to hr. The company has no motivation to better there relationship with their non-exempt employees because this family owned business is obvious showing who their favorite employees are . No background check is done so, they hire any and all from sex to violate offenders. Management has a bad habit of belittling their employees and gossiping to other managers.

    Advice to Management

Get up to speed with modern technology. Stop managing employees with fear and threat.

I worked at Complete Coach Works full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There no pros about this company. The # 1 driver is reckless and childish, he like to show you the ropes all the wrong ways. As a truck driver you should know the laws and dot regulations, we'll this driver doesn't. My advice to management is fire the dispatchers and your #1 driver if you want honesty in your company.

    Cons

Dispatchers don't know what they are doing. They tell you to break the law. They talk behind your back and smile in your face like they are your best friend. They try to tell you to do your own brakes on the trucks, knowing you have to be a certified brake mechanic. They also advertise the heavy-duty driver job pay starting at $25.00 an hour, That's a lie not even their so called #1 driver makes that. Unless you want to get fired around they holidays, I would highly recommend you not work here, they don't care about you.

    Advice to Management

Don't trust your dispatchers, they lie. And your #1 driver is not a safe and #1 driver. If you looked into what he was doing on a daily bases you would be very surprised!! Just a little example he doesn't care about your merchandise cause it fell off the truck (he watched it) and didn't tell you he lost it, he just covered it up. So if you want honesty your not going to get it from him.
