    Pros

Great opportunity to learn what it is like working for a non-profit company.

    Cons

Unfortunately the assignment ended as the company decided to restructure the position.

    Pros

They care about helping people achieve goals and assist in making sure you are happy. I am grateful for this company

    Cons

It's a temp agency, not always available with work assignments, of you leaves one place you have to wait till your done before next interview

    Advice to Management

Send people on interviews instead of waiting please.

I worked at Complete Staffing Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good, pro-active agency with young talent and folks who take the time to return calls and put in a good word for you with the client employer. My direct experience was with the Bedford, NH branch who treated me well. Especially Chris A.

    Cons

no real downsides to report on CSS, but like any agency placement, you need to be sure the job and work is a proper fit for your strengths and interests going forward.

    Pros

Complete Staffing is a GREAT company for someone who is trying to figure out whether or not they want to get into recruiting as a life long career. CSS taught me SO many things that I will take with me through my career. I was trained from the best of the best and met some extremely successful recruiters. I never knew this was an industry I could even see myself in but I have fallen in love with the industry and I can only thank CSS for this. The people are fantastic, excellent management, and mentor-ships. Dave on the perm team is PHENOMENAL and I look up to him tremendously. Gina on the temp-perm team is amazing as well and such a great teacher. I have not one bad thing to say about this company and am truly thankful for the opportunities I was given here. Anthony and Paul (the owners) have really made this company a place of true entrepreneurship.

    Cons

The commission structure is tough to make $$ off of. In comparison to other Boston staffing companies, it's definitely on the lower end (financially). Other than the compensation aspect.....this company is great.

I worked at Complete Staffing Solutions (Less than a year)

    Pros

For me there were no pros about this company.

    Cons

Recruiters need to learn to be more respectful to their candidates.

    Advice to Management

You need to have your recruiters respect the people they are representing.

    Pros

Excellent work environment. There is so much to learn in this field, and this team provided me with the tools to succeed.

    Cons

The only con is for individuals who are looking for handouts. Recruiting is hard work and requires time and effort if you want to make it.

    Advice to Management

    Advanced training

    Pros

    Flexible Work Schedule
    Self-accountability

This is a firm that caters to well-established staffing professionals; if you've been around the block and have had some success, you can further develop it here.

    Cons

    ZERO Guidance
    Sink-or-Swim Environment
    ENTIRELY Commission-Based

If you have trouble grasping biotech concepts or have issues with relatability, you're in trouble. No support from account managers OR senior recruiters.

I worked at Complete Staffing Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not a sweatshot like other big recruiting firms- upper management does not yell or really pressure employees
Decent hours, formally 8-5:30- they don't push working till 7 or 8 as some sweatshot staffing firms do
    Very high commission split

    Cons

Technology stuck in the early '90s- unbelievably, there's still no company databse for either candidates or clients- completely unheard of
Old school cold call and leave enthusiastic voicemail style of business development- nothing modern
Very transactional- they don't really build client relationships, so they're constantly calling for new business
Low income potential as a result of all these- their top biller makes half or less of what a top biller would at a national firm, and everyone below him makes much less

    Advice to Management

Try investing in a candidate database- they were first commercially available in the late 90s- the technology you're using now is the equivalent of a typewriter
Build better relationships with your clients, so there's not a list of 200 companies that 'sure, we did a deal with them once, lost track after that'
    Better training for new recruiters

    Pros

Kind, respectful, insightful placement agents who will work with you to build you up. I went in with zero professional environment experience and they showed me the way. If something didn't work out, they didn't give up, they just tried me at something different.

    Cons

Sometimes you'd get cut from an assignment on a day's notice.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.
